Confidence

These past days, I have been thinking about:
. the economy, our investments have been reduced by 40%
. retirement, I will probably have to work til I'm in my mid 70's
. the health of our loved ones - several of our elders in not doing well
. my health is not the best - need to get cholesterol/triglycerides under control
. my husband's jobs are a little scarce - no work, no money

but........ My Wonderful and Wise Husband reminded me ...............
God is in Control and our hope, trust and confidence are in HIM - The ROCK -
We shall not be moved!

It is well with my soul!

Consernes

My heart is heavy with health issues of family. I pray that God will intervene in each one and grant desires, recovery and health for my family. Thank you God for those who care for these loved ones, and bless each one.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

What a fabulous area of the world. Jay and I had such a wonderful time going to the CN Tower. Boy, looking around from the very top at all the city and being able to look across to the US was just fascinating. Have you ever stood on a glass floor at 1,400+ ft? Wow, that is a frightening experience....., but we did it.
Casa Loma is spectacular. It is a castle in the middle of Toronto. It was built with steam pipes to warm the room, an elevator - Otis 1 since it was the first in Canada, extraordinary gardens, which we saw covered with snow, exquisite bedrooms and guestrooms, enormous dinning room and library. Amazing!
ROM the Royal Ontario Museum is magnificent! It houses displays from all over the world. The featured displays were: Diamonds, Dinosaurs, Ukraine - Ancient Civilization, Egypt, Canada and it's native people and many other countries.
St. Lawrence Market with stores representing countries from around the world. We ate at the Portuguese restaurant.
Hockey Hall of Fame - I'm sorry that I cannot name the players who were celebrated, but we did get to take a picture with the Stanley Cup. It is awesome!
Well, Niagara Falls is beautiful. With the snow and ice caps it is breathtaking. We are so thankful that we were able to go see this natural beauty. We got to sit in a restaurant looking straight into the Horseshoe Falls. Magnificent! (I must confess that for who has seen the Foz do Iguaçu, there is no comparison. Sorry America and Canada!)

We are so thankful for the opportunity to get to know yet another country!
