Jay and I had a great time celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary. We went to Gainesville, TX. They have an outlet mall there. We shopped till we dropped and then went to the hotel - adjoining parking lots. Jay said it was "Christmas in August". After resting up, we drove around town and found a quaint Mexican Restaurant - El Tapatio. The food was really good and we had a nice time. Back to the hotel, watched one of the Back to the Future movies and then on to sleep. This morning, we got up leisurely, had breakfast at the hotel and then back to FW so Jay could go to his dental appt.

- This blog was begun as a misunderstanding on my part. My sister wanted me to get a gmail address so she could teach me about blogging as we worked on the blog for our boarding school. Well..... in my mind, she wanted me to start a blog. So..... here we are with another blog, which I have been enjoying. My family consist of my husband, Jay, our two cats, Buster (white) and Tiger (yellow) who live at our home and then, my sisters have allowed me to mother their children, Elaine and Dave (husband), Jonathan, Wesley, Cristina and Márcio (husband), Vanessa for which I am eternaly thankful! I also have Jennifer and Josh (husband), Kathryn and Jackson who are so very dear nieces and nephews to me/us. I named this blog Naomi and Jay's Blog: first because I am not very creative second because my husband and I have been a team for 31 years and I cannot imagine my life without him. He is a part of my whole, therefore, even though he will not be writing, my whole is us.
